Our reindeer come exclusively from meat-production farms. The animals live in large herds in the tundra of Northern Europe in the wild, where they are exposed to the most extreme temperatures of down to -50 °C. The best, natural food and the animals' freedom of movement ensure low-fat meat that is regarded as a delicacy and one of the highlights in gastronomy. You can't get more organic than that. The by-product of the pelt (hair-on skin) is characterized by extremely thick, long tubular hairs that provide the animals with optimal insulation. The supply of pelts in good qualities – without holes and with an even coat – is very strictly limited. Worldwide demand always exceeds supply.

Thanks to the chrome-free tanning, the reindeer skin retains its natural colour pattern. The size can vary from approx. 0.8–1.2 sqm, depending on the gender and age of the animal.
